75th Diamond Anniversary Celebration

We are thrilled to announce that The Grand Ball of Alabama (formerly known as the Blue-Gray Colonels’ Ball) will celebrate its 75th Diamond Anniversary on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center in Montgomery. As part of this historic milestone, it is our great joy to honor and recognize all of our past queens on stage during the evening’s program. Your presence will be a cherished part of this celebration.
 

Schedule of Events

• Morning (10:30 AM): Rehearsal with the 2025 Grand Ball tableau

• Afternoon (12:30 PM): Past Queens’ Luncheon hosted at the home of Owen Aronov

• Evening (8:00 PM): The 75th Diamond Anniversary Grand Ball, featuring the on-stage recognition of past queens
   

Special Details for Past Queens

As our honored guests, you will receive:

• Your personal Grand Ball invitation

• An invitation for your husband and/or escort

• One additional couple’s invitation at no charge

Additional invitations may be purchased at a special discounted rate, giving you the opportunity to include children, grandchildren, or dear friends who would enjoy celebrating this once-in-a-lifetime milestone. Please wear a long evening gown for the presentation.
